Core vocabulary
Kira is the karma / assessment chatbot being coached inside Horizon.
The written instructions Kira follows (currently KYF v1.9). Edit sections of the Playbook to change behavior.
A behavior you want to coach Kira toward (e.g., "Bridge to the karma assessment after a pain point"). On Kira, Focus Areas are tracked hypotheses you iterate on by reading sessions.
Behaviors you are actively coaching Kira on. Read real sessions, find examples, update the Playbook.
A repeated behavior across Kira sessions — either a failure mode you want to fix or a success you want to preserve.
Repeated behaviors across sessions. You identify patterns by reading real conversations, then address them by editing the Playbook.
Your read of what is going wrong in a Kira session or pattern — written down in a Focus Area or flagged turn.
Your flag or note on a specific Kira assistant turn. Drives which turns surface in the Flagged turns list.
An automatic annotation produced by the backend for a Kira turn, when available.
Kira-specific concepts
One complete conversation between a user and Kira. Browsed in the Sessions page, the primary observation surface for Kira Horizon.
A specific assistant reply inside a session that you (or an auto-annotator) marked as worth reviewing. Collected in the Flagged turns page.
"Know Your Fortune" — the product concept Kira operationalises. Also the prefix for Kira's metaprompt versions (e.g. KYF v1.9).
The category a user is assessed into by Kira's assessment flow. Drives the chatbot's personalised analysis and follow-up prompts.
The conversational transition from free-form chat to the structured karma assessment. One of the harder patterns to get right — often a Focus Area.
Timeline of publishes, reverts, reviews, and other coaching events. Same surface on both Kira and Luna.
Making a saved Playbook (metaprompt) version the live one Kira runs against for all new conversations.
Rolling the live Playbook back to a previously-published version. Use when a publish caused regressions you didn't catch in observation.
The standing reference at the top of the Horizon home — About Kira, sample sessions, and known hunches. Revise freely as understanding changes.
